General ledger and multi-entity accounting
Shared chart of accounts, financial dimensions that survive reporting, intercompany posting and eliminations, and a structure that still works when the group buys another company.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
Dynamics 365 Finance is the enterprise financial management platform for groups running several legal entities, currencies and statutory regimes. We implement it, support it, and fix it where an earlier programme left the close harder than it was before.

What it covers
The functional areas we implement most often, and what has to be true in each for the close to hold together.
Shared chart of accounts, financial dimensions that survive reporting, intercompany posting and eliminations, and a structure that still works when the group buys another company.
Multi-currency consolidation, translation, elimination rules and a close calendar that produces the same answer twice. Where the pack is assembled in a spreadsheet today, that is the thing we set out to remove.
Accruals, allocations, period control, subledger reconciliation and financial period close workspace. The measure is how many days it takes and how many manual adjustments survive.
Vendor invoice automation, approval workflow, payment proposals, collections, credit management and cash application, with the exceptions visible rather than buried.
Asset books and depreciation, VAT and Making Tax Digital submission, audit trail, segregation of duties and the evidence an auditor asks for without a fire drill.
Budget control, forecast positions, project and cost accounting, and the reporting layer that connects committed spend to the position the board is shown.
UK mid-market and enterprise groups: several legal entities, more than one currency, acquisitions to absorb, statutory reporting obligations and a finance team that spends too much of the month assembling numbers rather than explaining them.
Dynamics 365 Finance is the right platform when multi-entity, multi-currency, statutory complexity or transaction volume genuinely demand it. Where it does not, we will say so, and Business Central costs less to run.
We design around the close rather than the demo script. If the first month-end after go-live is calmer than the last one before it, the design was right.
Financial reporting, Power BI and the management pack are designed alongside the ledger, not bolted on once everyone has moved on to the next project.
Moving from Dynamics AX? The AX to Dynamics 365 migration page covers the upgrade decision. For the operational side, see Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
Before you call
A conversation, not a demo
Tell us how the close runs today, where the manual work sits and what the group structure looks like. We will tell you whether Dynamics 365 Finance is the right platform, or whether Business Central would do the job for less.
