The Dynamics 365 Data Integration feature - enables the flow of data between Dynamics 365 for Sales and Dynamics 365 for Operations, some other products too through Common Data Service. You’ll be happy to learn that CDS comes pre-configured with a large set of standard entities commonly used in business applications. A good example would be customer fields. Both CRM and ERP have customer fields, but they are called something different in each system. Using Common Data Service - you can map both applications to a single field called “Customer.” After mapping - whenever that field is updated, Common Data Service will update both applications.

The Common Data model is a way for business apps to be able to speak the same language about the information you care about - an out-of-box business database for storing and managing business entities.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 license comes with new elements in a suite – PowerApps, Flow and Power BI. (as well as for all Microsoft Office 365 E1-E5 licenses). This “Power Tier” helps Dynamics 365 users create their own applications without relying on IT department in short amount of time which can be used to edit, send, receive or visualize the data with added interactivity to it.
